Blog post #4 Camera Angles

This first angle is of a birds eye angle. This is an angle shot directly above the subject, giving it a ‘bird’s eye view’ at a 90 degree angle, taken from atop the object.

This next angle is called a Dutch angle. This is meant to give the viewer or audience a sense of disorientation vicarious to the character’s or subject’s mind. My mom help with the lighting in this shot with her camera phone.

The last angle is called the low angle shot. This shot makes the subject look big or powerful in structure, making the viewer seem small to them.

The object that I used for this blog is a plastic, detailed skull of a dragon I kept in my room. I used my iPhone 11 Pro Max to capture the pictures.
